OUR STORY
“What if the food I grew up eating can be brought over to Singapore?”, thought Sebastian Low. As this thought kept on brewing at the back of his mind, the self-confessed foodie took on the arduous task of approaching a culled list of authentic childhood eats in the city of Kuala Lumpur and just beyond in Malaysia. The process of negotiation took up many flights and face-to-face negotiation talks before each brand owner agreed to venture into new territory and open across the border without compromising on food quality and ingredients.
ABOUT US
EatAlley’s painstaking efforts to build a “branded” food court with the aim of preserving family recipes eventually paid off with the first outlet’s launch. Loosely adopting a calming Peranakan green hue for the overall concept, EatAlley was designed and fitted by award-winning Hong Kong-based company, Atelier E founded by Enoch Hui. The long corridor space is matched with customised furniture of terrazzo marble tables and cushy rattan chairs to lend a warm and welcoming feel to the premium label. Diners can be assured of EatAlley’s commitment to serving authentic street food in a casual restaurant-style setting
